Nathan is a Certified Professional Risk Manager (CPRM) with 18 years’ experience in the risk and safety industry across New Zealand and Australia. With executive management and governance experience in businesses with a workforce from 1 to over 47,000 workers, Nathan understands the challenges faced in developing and sustaining a safe work culture and practices. Nathan is passionate about using his risk management and strategy expertise to facilitate better business for NZ and Australian enterprises. Nathan currently consults to a range of government, corporate and non-government organisations on a broad range of risk matters and has been a risk management keynote speaker at major conferences. In addition to his professional involvement in safety, risk and strategy roles, Nathan spends his spare time as President of Whangamata Surf Life Saving Club where he has been an active volunteer surf life saver for 19 years and focussed on keeping the community safe in the water.
Mark Kidd is a seasoned executive with over 20 years’ international experience in private and public sector organisations. Mark has worked in executive management, human resource, and finance roles and now advises CEO’s, Executive and HR teams on building organisational capability, culture, and talent. Mark has successfully developed and sold globally several human resource SaaS products and smartphone apps including the new SaaS product, Safe365 designed to make the workplace a safer place for employees, management and customers. A key area of focus for Mark is ensuring that talent and people management strategies are business-specific and aligned to the organisation’s vision, strategy and performance. Mark’s personal philosophy is to build excellence in executive and people leadership, culture and capability and in the spirit of giving back to the community Mark coaches and mentors Olympians and World Champions transitioning from the sports arena to the business world.
Andrew worked for Hewlett-Packard for 13 years in Credit Risk Management, Operations, and Marketing roles. In 2002 he co-founded Exeed Ltd, which is now New Zealand’s 2nd largest IT Hardware Distributor. Andrew has extensive experience in people management, operations, and finance. He understands the challenges of starting a business, and managing it through the various stages of its growth journey.
Jonathon has worked as an information management consultant and product manager for over 18 years with a wide range of small / medium businesses and sports organisations. He has experience in a wide range of projects helping small businesses utilise technology to its fullest to streamline business processes, effectively manage information and provide excellent customer service. With one person dying every week on a worksite somewhere in New Zealand Jonathon is extremely passionate about Safe365 and how it can assist to save people’s lives.
Greg is co-founder and CTO of IT Effect, a successful software services company. He is an experienced software architect who has over 15 years’ experience designing and developing complex business systems in a range of industries including digital publishing, financial services, and transport and logistics. Greg has a particular focus on building scalable and cost-effective cloud-based software systems.
Chris is the co-founder of AraCapital, an active investor and adviser in the start-up and tech space. He has significant experience in SAAS enterprises and a deep network in the Australian start-up ecosystem. He is a Chartered Accountant and holds a MBA and BSc from Otago and was an investment banker with JPMorgan prior to founding AraCapital.
